PAT BENATAR AND NEIL GIRALDO CONFIRMED FOR INTERVIEW AT SXSW MUSIC

Rock legends Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will speak at SXSW Music 2016. The couple will sit down with USA Today’s Mike Snider to discuss one of the most enduring partnerships in music history and the road ahead.

Brooklyn-born, four time Grammy winner, multi-platform artist and mezzo-soprano, Pat Benatar has always been a trailblazer. The duo's top 40 hits dominated the MTV revolution with iconic titles such as "Love is a Battlefield", "We Live For Love", "Promises In The Dark", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "We Belong", and "Heartbreaker". Producer, songwriter and husband, Neil Giraldo aka Spyder, crafted the signature Benatar sound with his masterful arrangements and steel bending guitar. He also created hits for a variety of other top performers including John Waite, Kenny Loggins, Rick Springfield. Together Benatar and Giraldo continue to be a force to be reckoned with as they hit the road each summer inspiring new bands and thrilling fans all over the world.

The interview will take place on Wednesday, March 16 in Room 16AB of the Austin Convention Center from 12:30PM - 1:30PM.
